Today was great. Alesha got her dress picked out. That is a huge thing out of the way. She could hardly restrain herself from showing me the pictures of her in the dress. (In fact, I had to point-blank tell her "no".) Her mom cried when she Alesha put it on.
We also got the reception hall out of the way. We're going with the Country Inn. The prices are reasonable, the staff seems easy to work with, and it's got the hotel attached. The only drawback is that the ceiling is a bit low.
On top of everything, we've got a florist lined up. Alesha's mom has a friend who can get everything wholesale. And speaking of flowers, apparently Scher has helped decorate for some other weddings, so now they owe her. I definitely don't want her stressing out on the day of the wedding.
