For those of you out there keeping score...
Several months ago Fosamax (osteoporosis) went generic, and is now known as alendronate. This past week two more drugs went generic: Risperdal (schizophrenia) and Yasmin (birth control), now risperidone and Ocella, respectively. Depakote (bipolar disorder, epilepsy, migrane) should be going generic before the end of the year; I think it will be called valproate.
