I get to buy new shoes! I forgot to put my boots back on after lunch. After slogging through this mess, they are in no condition to be brought back home.
It's wild driving through and seeing forests of brown trees, like in the middle of a monochrome autumn. What leaves the saltwater winds didn't strip are now completely dead.
I came to the realization in the middle of the afternoon that all the pea green carpets we've been moving probably weren't that color to begin with.
