New advise from a new homeowner

The air conditioning folks have come and gone. The problem was a bad capacitor in the outside unit. (Think flux capacitor, but with the function of running the air conditioner instead of transporting you back to 1985.)

The root of the problem was probably a dirty outside unit. All the dirt and grass clippings had clogged up the sides of the unit. The technician said it looked like there had been a fire inside of it, which probably had something to do with the capacitor failing. They used a hose to clean out all of the gunk from the sides of the unit, and recommended that we do it once a year.

We were please with the work Rumpca Services did. The damage was only $194. And now we have crisp, lovely 78ยบ air in our home. Now I just have to make sure the windows are all closed...
