I got up at 6:00 and ran to Notre-Dame de la Chapelle (Our Lady of the Chapel). And walked back ('cause it's uphill!). Breakfast consisted of a buffet, but it was not typical. I'm used to hot food for breakfast in the morning. The only thing that was hot was the bacon and grits. Except the grits were really runny eggs. There were lunch meats and cheeses lying out on the table as well. The other bar had breads and dried fruits.
You know that one thing you always forget to bring on your trip? This time, mine was my dress shoes. And for the record, Deidre's name is pronounced DEER-dre. Now off to work!
